Maybe I'll return after the series is finished to properly review it - since my policy is to review something after having finished watching it, but I made an exception for this one because people have been saying a lot of nasty comments about the new series how it sucks, how they wanted the sequel to be about the old characters in college or something, but I personally think that adding new characters leaves more space for newer character and killer technique design (which is actually the main selling point of the first series that was oh so popular), and also to the behind-the-scenes drama (take Tsurugi for example). So basically, having new characters, plot and principles, at first sight Inazuma Eleven GO might seem not as great as the prequel, but it is nevertheless a relatively good watch for the more faithful fans, and very recommended for those who are curious about how the story goes on. Secondly, the mood of the prequel is slightly changed to fit the new age of middle school soccer, which in itself shouldn't be a minus to the new series. Firstly, since a lot of time elapsed from when the first series ended, and since the main focus of both series is exclusively middle school soccer ligue, there was a need to introduce new characters, but at the same time keep the old ones to guide them (read this as fainservice), so on its own, a new plot developes just from that. One of the rare places both these groups agree! The hardcore libertarians who give talks at the Mises Institute know that intellectual property is a state enforced distortion of the free market, and all the communists and anarchists know that if you can offer knowledge to help others, you should not lock it down. For every business person who only innovates because of the monopoly profits our current society offers, there are 100 engineers and business owners who just want to offer the next greatest thing, and who see the potential profit in being first to market. So it is a self reinforcing change to society, and one where I believe the rate of innovation would be much higher. But if we also make society free to live (which is now cheaper without patents and copyright keeping prices high), then creators and engineers do not have to fear for their livelihood. This would also allow MUCH FASTER growth in poorer nations, since they would not have to import expensive goods from wealthy nations but could make their own clones. And every person on earth can grow up with access to a library of every book ever digitized.ĮDIT: I should add, that if we did not patent and copyright everything, then costs would go down because generics would rule the market. And artists can create their art and offer it for free to everyone. I actually think the solution is to build a society where food and shelter and clothing and internet are free. But I think the solution is not to stop offering giant free libraries to everyone. Of course, in our current society we can’t offer this to everyone or artists would starve. And at night, after work, I’m making a little time for reading again. But finally with library genesis I can download whatever and it doesn’t cost me money or take up any space. The Faceless Men would eventually participate in the founding of Braavos, and later made the city their home. He gave the first gift to a fellow slave who was in pain, before bringing the gift to the slave masters themselves, thus freeing his brethren. This inspiration gave him insight into this god’s ideals, and the realization that he needed to spread his god's gift (that being death) to the world. In the books, it is said that the original Faceless Men were slaves in the volcanic mines of Valyria.Ī legendary figure known as the first Faceless Man heard the prayers of all of the slaves to all of their different gods, and realized that they were worshipping the same deity: the Many-Faced God. The origins of the Faceless Men are steeped in mystery and myth. Many fans also theorize that the Faceless Men may rely on glamours, magical trinkets used to hide or alter one’s appearance. Potions, tools, and training are also mentioned to be elements of their shapeshifting. Using some sort of special process, the Faceless Men are able to create magical masks out of this skin, which they then use in their disguises.
